Limbandungila Lodge is about 55 km south-east of Ondangwa on the B1 Tar road, north of Etosha between the villages of Onembenge and Oshikulu, in the Ondangwa/Onankali area in the heart of Owamboland.
The owner is the entrepeneur woman Paulina Nangula Paulus. They’ve got six rooms shaped like traditional huts plus a bar/restaurant. Don’t expect any kind of luxury, this is a basic accommodation normally aimed to Namibia business travellers and locals.
Easily accessible from the Tar road, Limbandungila Lodge is perfect for stopping and enjoying the traditional charms of the Owambo region before continuing your trip. Be sure to talk to Paulina, who will tell you about the current challenges for entrepreneurs like herself in trying to run a business properly.
